About Us

Welcome to The Monroe Firefighters Local 3824 web page. The Monroe Firefighters family consists of forty-one career staff members. They provide fire suppression, rescue, and emergency medical services to the residents and visitors of the City of Monroe.

In 2018 MFD responded to approximately 2500 calls for service along with countless hours of continued education and training. In our field it is very important for the members to have consistent training. Training provides firefighters safety, and allows us to mitigate a problem efficiently.

The Monroe Fire Department is a full service fire and EMS organization, focused on providing leadership in the community and continually striving to exceed expectations, valued by the citizens it protects and by its employees.
